We founded Country Trails with one goal in mind: giving exclusive off highway access to our beautiful rural property allowing you a rewarding riding experience.
Country Trails is located in Colchester and offers gorgeous views of the North Essex coastal countryside. We want your experience to be as hassle free as possible, so we have designed a system of different length trails, for you to mix and match within your Morning or Afternoon session. Simply book online, turn up with your horse, saddle up and make use of the extensive trails. We have fantastic flexibility so that you can choose to spend as much or as little time at Country Trails as you wish. Our Morning sessions mean that you can start arriving from 6am (feel free to turn up whenever) and enjoy Country Trails through until Lunch.  The Afternoon sessions running between 12.30-7.00pm are perfect for a relaxed afternoon and the possibility of catching a stunning sunset across the fields. Simply turn up whenever you are ready within  your booked session and enjoy!  Our rides offer a combination of field and concrete track surfaces, and are ideal if you want to either ride or lead your horse. Perfect for beginners and riders looking for a peaceful/relaxed hack. The trails are clearly marked with our distinctive and now iconc marker signs.
